April 13th**I want to thank everyone for there phone calls there stopping by and their memories n candles n pictures.

It helps our family to no how much she was loved and to the people that took her, life how much u hurt and destroyed so many lives with ur calious act.

One arrest has been made and we are awaiting others!

Today we will again try to make it through another day n pray that dana is sendin the strenght to do that. We will someday come to terms that Dana will never be here to laugh, sing, giggle, play, hug or live. We no she never wanted to go to sleep forever and her family is fightin hard to make sure the people responsible for this will be held accoutable for her going to heaven. We must all remember that the victim has no rights. So danas family will push to make sure what little in life and justice there is we will get to make sure dana can rest in peace. So we just want you that we THANK YOU for your support and strenght through all of this dark journey we now have to travel.

****The people of Westchester have the right to know that your children are not being protected. The District Attorney Janet Difiore doesn't care to get involved unless it's easy. Difiore only puts out promos about how she cares and she is combatting crime but on the other hand she told me there is nothing she can do. Yes there is something YOU can do. Get in the real world of these young peoples minds. The laws ARE ARCHAIC. You need to get with the times to day or more childrens blood will die on your hands. theres never enough words in the world to explain the pain we all felt since you left. i cant explain it. tomorrows either grade graduation. already. its hard even more now cause your not here for the signing of the yearbook the eigth grade breakfast or even graduation. it sucks. i think of you a lot though. you actually helped me find myself in life right now. nothings the same but nothings different. things would be a lot different if you were here. im not writing this so people can read it & feel bad. im writing this because the last few months i havent visited the website only cause when i do i go crazy. i go crazy just thinking about you imagine looking at all the memories through the years. youve been a awesome friend & a great guardian angel. tomorrow at graduation i will be thinking of you the whole time. i hope youll be there to watch us walk the stage. theres a lot more to it though. it wasnt easy. eigth grade was actually the hardest year yet. & let me tell you something. you have a pretty strong family. i mean, its hard for us, friends to deal with this butyour family has been guiding us..showing us the way back. i love you dana marie.

hey i was thinking about you lately.and im thinking what if you where still here. and everyone would be so much happier. cos you knoe eveyone who knew you pretty much loved you. and everyone has lost a friend.you were just aswesome.remeber science a blast. you were jsut the colest person in the world.and the day you passed aways every where in the halls people where crying.but the thing i didnt like people didnt even knoe you and were wrting your name on there face and asking as if they knew you.it just got me mad POed. and i was just talkin' to my friend about druggs and remebered you. she was like why didnt you tell her to stop.and i thought to my self i could have told her i would hear talk to amy in science saying that you were gonna get high and i kinda got mad that you got high.>:|.and on friday of last week i put this shoe lace onmy head like a head band.cos in social studies you had a happy bunny head band and amy said she likes it and you said "its a shoe lace".also once my friend tricked me that his best friend died.and i was bawling cos i thought of you and stared crying so much. so yea i just remeber you a lot.well right you later bye love you.

Thank you so much for ur love, and and candles for our angel Kacey. I to saw ur daughters story, and say how sorry I am for the tragic loss of your precious Dana. Its so hard to express the feelings of loss you, us and so many others are living with. My darling niece Kacey, and Dana's loss are are so similar, and the pain is magnified by the circumstances of their deaths. Just know that you, are in our prayers, and that Kacey and Dana are with our Heavenly father, safe, happy, but so so missed!!! The wrong doing that occurred, will be justified. We all have to remain close to God, Hes our only peace!!!

First of all I thank you so much for all your loving candles you've lit for my angel kacey. I have read your dana marie's story and I am so sorry for your pain from one mother to another. I also believe my daughter's death was unjust and her story didn't even make it to the papers. I guess the officers and investegators felt it was not significant enough to put in the paper. But I know the truth and because there were drugs found in her system they thought it was just another overdose. She was on medication and had been raped at the age of 13 by way of date rape drugs. she was an all american girl., cheerleader, popular but she still had compassion for everyone she met. She had 3 beautiful daughters and one being a 3 week old angel Kolbee who was found with her. I havent seen her since she was 3 months and like you everything about the case was handled wrong. All I can tell you is that God is getting me through this and he called your Dana home and although we don't understand we can rest knowing she is in her heavenly fathers arms never to be hurt again. I know that may not help you and I first hand understand your anger and sadness. I dream about my kacey everynight. So she comes to me and I see her face clearly so I know she is with me always as I know your Dana Marie is with you. Always remember that. And again thank you so much for your concern and compassion for what my family is going through. Know that you will walk with her again someday as will I with my beautiful Kacey. Let God have vengence because the Bible promises us that. Anyone that was involved will meet their maker someday and they will have no excuse. I wish you love and peace......Jerri Turney
